No center pole for more space
Camping tents for groups need no center pole. This gives room for tables and chairs. A US camping gear brand wanted a six-pole structure with a top hub. We made it with tapered fiberglass poles. Our tapered pole technology comes from one of our patents. The customer sold out their tent in three months at REI. Shaoxing Longfan started in 2021. We have 14 patents.
Numbers from our tests
We use tapered poles: 12 mm at the bottom, 8 mm at the top. The top hub is anodized aluminum. The table below shows the key numbers.

The tent has no support poles inside. The usable floor area is 95%. You can fit a six-person table. The tapered poles can bend 20° in strong wind. They absorb energy and then return to shape. Elastic ropes are pre-installed. You just insert the six poles into the ground loops and connect to the top. Setup takes 5 minutes. The 6 pole teepee is very stable in wind.
