Shaoxing Longfan started in 2021. We make fiberglass products. Commercial polytunnels need to handle heavy snow and strong wind. Traditional bamboo or wood poles rot in two to three years. We make large-diameter fiberglass tubes. The outer diameter is 20 to 40 mm. The wall thickness is 3 to 5 mm. We use double-layer continuous fiber winding for extra strength. A vegetable farming base in Shouguang, Shandong used our heavy duty polytunnel frame. They said they have not replaced a single pole in 5 years. We have 14 patents. Our annual production is 3000 tons.
Double-layer winding and strong connectors
We use fiberglass tubes with double-layer continuous fiber winding. The ring strength is 250 MPa or higher. The axial strength is 450 MPa or higher. The ends have engineering plastic connectors. The connectors are socket style. You push one tube into another. It locks in place. No tools needed. The surface has an anti-UV and weather-resistant coating. The coating lasts for many years. It does not peel or crack. The poles do not conduct electricity. There is no lightning risk. They are also safe near power lines.

The frame has very high load capacity. A single arch can hold 200 kg of concentrated load. That is the weight of two large men. The all-fiberglass structure needs no paint. It needs no maintenance. The socket-style connectors make assembly fast. Two people can put up a large polytunnel in half a day. This is 50% faster than metal frames. The special coating lasts 10 years outdoors.
