Auto support for box lids
Shaoxing Longfan started in 2021. We make fiberglass products. Storage boxes have lids. When you open the lid, it can fall back down. It can hit your hand. So we made a support rod. The rod holds the lid open. When you close the lid, the rod folds flat. A storage box factory in Zhejiang used our Storage Box Support Rods. Their product went into Costco. Auto lock and fold design
We use solid fiberglass rods. The diameter is 5 to 6 mm. The length is 150 to 300 mm. The length depends on the box depth. The ends have nylon or metal hinges. One hinge attaches to the box body. The other hinge attaches to the lid. When you open the lid, the rod pops up. It locks into place. The lid stays open. When you close the lid, the rod folds flat. It does not take up space inside the box. The lock is automatic. You do not need to touch the rod.

The rod is very durable. It can open and close 5,000 times. That is many years of use. The lock holds the lid even with 3 kg of force. The lid will not fall. The rod is quiet. It does not make noise when opening or closing. The hinges are strong. They do not loosen over time. The Storage Box Support Rods make storage boxes safer.
Easy to install and no rust
The rod comes as a complete unit. You screw the hinges onto the box. Two screws per hinge. Installation takes one minute. The rod is made of fiberglass and nylon. No metal parts except the screws.
