Thick tubes and double lock
We use fiberglass tubes with a 25 mm outer diameter. The inner diameter is 21 mm. The wall thickness is 2 mm. The pole is very stiff. It does not bend under heavy loads. The pole has two sections. The height adjusts from 1.0 to 2.2 meters. The lock system has two parts. First, an aluminum threaded lock. You turn it to tighten. Second, a stainless steel spring pin. You push it into a hole. Both locks work together. The pole will not slip down. The base is a heavy tripod. The tripod legs are aluminum. The legs have steel weights. The leg spread is 0.8 meters. Each leg adjusts independently.

The stand is very stable. The 0.8 meter leg spread is wide. The steel weights keep it down. The double lock system is safe. Even if one lock fails, the other holds. The threaded lock is strong. The spring pin clicks into a hole. You can hear the click. You know it is locked. The top connector is 3/8 inch. This fits large softboxes and LED lights.
