One frame for sun and rain
Many umbrella factories need a frame that works for both sun protection and rain. They do not want to stock two materials. So we made this all-fiberglass frame. The main ribs, secondary ribs, and shaft are all fiberglass. We also applied a black matte coating on the ribs. A Yiwu umbrella exporter used our All-weather Umbrella frame. They said one SKU covers both needs. Shaoxing Longfan started in 2021. We have 14 patents.
Numbers from our tests
The frame includes main ribs (solid, 4 mm), secondary ribs (solid, 3 mm), and the shaft (tube, outer 10 mm, wall 1.5 mm). Connectors are PA66+30% fiberglass. The table below shows the key numbers.

The frame is 100% metal-free except for the springs. It will never rust. The black matte coating reduces reflection. The snap-fit connections increase assembly efficiency by 30%. The frame is very light. The All-weather Umbrella works for both sunny and rainy days.
