Storm-proof for golf umbrellas
Golf umbrellas are very large, 1.5 to 2.0 meters wide. Normal ribs break easily in strong wind. A high-end gift company asked for ribs that can withstand 10-level wind. We use reinforced solid fiberglass with a 5-6 mm diameter. We use double stainless steel rivets at each connection. We did a wind tunnel test at 120 km/h. The customer said these are the strongest ribs of an umbrella they have ever seen. Shaoxing Longfan started in 2021.

The ribs can handle 100 km/h wind. They are 50% thicker than normal ribs. The double rivets are redundant. If one fails, the other still holds. The wear-resistant coating means no white spots after frequent use. The ribs of an umbrella are very durable.
